At the end of August, Connecting Environmental Professionals Toronto hosted an informative event for young professionals interested in powering up their career in sustainability, or transitioning into the sustainability role of their dreams.
We were thrilled to host an all-star panel of three ambitious and passionate leaders who are already making waves in their respective careers.
Since there's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all career, so it was incredibly valuable to hear the diverse perspectives of our three brilliant panelists: Julia Zeeman, Climate & Energy Policy Consultant, The Delphi Group; Christie McLeod, Founder & Managing Director of Human Rights Hub Winnipeg and Articling Student at Miller Thomson LLP; and Lulu Li, Sustainability Advisor, Metrolinx (bios below).
The webinar was moderated by our very own Mayur Mukati, Vice President at CEP Toronto, and Senior Associate, Sustainable Finance Solutions at Sustainalytics.
This event built upon our successful webinar back in June called “How to get a job in Sustainability”, where we discussed the types of jobs currently available in sustainability and how to market yourself to stand out.
