We're bringing together environmental and financial professionals for our first CEP Toronto event of the year, Sustainable Finance.

A growing number of people are holding companies accountable for their actions by investing in those that support environmental, social and governance (ESG) causes. The 2018 Harvard Kennedy School reported that socially responsible investments (SRI) is worth $26 trillion and that millennials are the driving force of this growth. Not only is it better for our well-being and the planet, impact investing and SRIs are profitable investments, debunking a long-time myth. Many corporations and executives agree that climate change and environmental issues are risks for future growth and are starting to take action.

How can institutional investors mobilize their investments to address climate change? What does responsible investing involve and how does it play a role in international accords like the Paris Agreement? What are the current trends in green bond financing around the world and within Canada? How can you as an investor make a positive impact?

Join us on Tuesday, April 2nd to get those questions answered from thought leaders and experts in the sustainable finance space.

The facility is accessible by wheelchair (via the west side building door), otherwise main access is off Adelaide Street East.
