Ever wanted to say a few words to inspire others into action but were too shy or afraid?  Wasn't sure if what you had to say would be of value?  Come to this workshop and learn a few tips to help you overcome your hesitation. Learn how to narrate your own story on the mic to inspire others into action. Through practice in the workshop, you will gain the confidence skills you need to get yourself out there!

Trainer:  Jennifer Huang is a transit activist with TTCriders and an educator with Unifor, Canada’s largest private sector union. She was formerly an organizer with the Toronto & York Region Labour Council where she organized various campaigns to defend workers’ rights, to raise the minimum wage, and to build a network of activists.  In her free time, Jennifer enjoys swimming, riding her bike or going for a walk with her infant daughter. 

Accessibiity: The building and room is wheelchair accessible. There are some gender neutral washrooms in the building. The closest accessible subway is St. George Station. Subway tokens are available upon request.
