Climate Hack-To-Action: Unlocking a Low Carbon Future

The Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change are teaming up with passionate Ontarians to generate new solutions to one of the biggest challenges our society is facing – climate change.


Climate Hack-to-Action will unlock Ontario’s low carbon future by developing innovative solutions that empower people to reduce their carbon footprints. Participants will form teams and collaborate with policy experts, community leaders and entrepreneurs to accelerate impactful and sustainable solutions. THE CHALLENGE QUESTION
What challenges do people face in making low carbon choices? How might we empower people to instinctively reduce their carbon footprints? 


WHO SHOULD GET INVOLVED?
Inventive and innovative minds, young, old, and in between. Individuals who think creatively about big problems and thrive when working collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds. Participants do not have to be experts in climate change or environmental issues.
