With the increasing electricity price and the dropping Feed-in Tariff rates in Ontario, the energy industry is looking for the next integrated solution to save on energy, better control demand and supply and provide back-up during grid outages. We will discuss some of the different types of energy storage solutions (battery, flywheel, compressed air etc.). How does energy storage apply to commercial and residential properties? What is smart grid and why is it “smart”? How electric cars play an important role in smart grids? We will touch on Tesla home battery as well.

This is an event for learning and networking!
