The Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) Credential Maintenance Program recognizes three levels of credentialing for green building practitioners. The LEEDv4 Green Associate is aimed at practitioners in the industry that require a basic knowledge and understanding of green building practices and general knowledge of the LEEDv4 rating system.  The LEEDv4 Green Associate Exam is an introductory-level exam for individuals who wish to demonstrate a general knowledge of LEED and green building practices, or continue on to more advanced LEED credentials, such as the LEED AP with specialty.
