We’re pleased to announce the first topic and speaker of the 2015 LEED Breakfast Series: The NEW Dynamic Plaque
 

LEED Dynamic Plaque has been launched by the US Green Building Council to drive a more performance-based approach to LEED and to continue to enhance interest in the LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance standard.  It is evolving as an efficient option to maintaining LEED certification and is available to all previously certified LEED EB, NC, CS and CI projects. Come to this session to learn about the opportunities it presents and delve into dialogue around the plaque’s value and use in the market!

This breakfast session is approved for 1.5 CE Hours.

Speaker

Scot Horst, Chief Product Officer, U.S. Green Building Council. 

Scot is responsible for all product research, development, implementation and execution at USGBC. In his previous position he oversaw LEED at the U.S. Green Building Council. He guided staff and volunteers in the development of LEED v4, and is chief inventor of the LEED Dynamic Plaque, a scoring device for whole building performance. Scot established LEED as a global benchmark through a global, regional and local growth strategy that includes the LEED International Roundtable, now comprised of 38 countries and responsible for LEED technical development around the world.
