Kimberly Rafuse


Kimberly is passionate about sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, climate change and risk management.  

She currently works for a large global reinsurance company and her work focuses on industrial risk control, and she is also involved with a consultancy on climate change and financial institutions.  She has worked with industry, non-profits, and in consulting. She returned to Toronto from Calgary in 2015, and was previously a Board Member of Connecting Environmental Professionals (CEP) Calgary.

She has a Bachelor's of Engineering, Chemical/Environment, and a Master's in Environmental Security.  

Crystal Vella

Vice President

Crystal is an emerging leader in sustainability and climate change management. As an Analyst at The Delphi Group, she provides research, analytical and strategic support in climate change policy, corporate sustainability and climate risk management strategy.


She holds her Master of Environment and Sustainability from the University of Western Ontario and is a graduate of Brock University (BAHons) and Niagara College’s Environmental Management and Assessment post-graduate program.


In her spare time, you can usually find her with a great read in hand or enjoying everything the outdoors has to offer when the weather is nice.

Kate Dolson,

Director of Marketing

Kate currently works as Project Coordinator at PI Creative Art. She has completed her CAPM post-graduate certification as well as her undergraduate degree in Environmental Governance from the University of Guelph. She works towards spreading environmental awareness through her personal blog, and is passionate about parks and wildlife that linger within our city. 

Previously Kate has worked as an Environmental Educator, and program developer at the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre and raised awareness in renewable energies with Bullfrog Power. In Kate's spare time she enjoys running, hiking, and spending a lot of time with her dog. 

Sandy Creighton

Director, Member Relations

Sandy works as Data Director at Pivot Strategic Consulting, a policy consulting firm based in Toronto. At Pivot, Sandy manages the development of an online microtargeting mapping tool used by environmental organizations to aid their campaigns and lobbying efforts. Prior to working at Pivot, Sandy worked as Outreach Coordinator at GreenPAC and Report Analyst at ERIS. Sandy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Psychology and a post-grad certificate in Applied Digital Geography and GIS from Ryerson University. 


Sandy believes in the importance of creating lasting interdisciplinary connections, especially in the field of environmentalism.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, attending speaker events, and playing with her pets. She is passionate about social change, waste management and responsible urban planning.

Jasmine Baumann

Director, Finance

Jasmine has her Bachelor of Commerce in International Business at Humber College. While at Humber, she spent a semester abroad in Auckland, New Zealand and also completed her work placement in Copenhagen, Denmark. 

She is passionate about environmental issues and is planning on completing a masters or post-grad that will guide her towards a more sustainability-focused career. She enjoys travelling, being outdoors, cooking, swimming, and trying out new cafés. 

Yvonne Ho

Director, Events

Yvonne is an environmental professional with a background in environmental science and sustainability. She has several years of work experience in the environmental non-profit sector— carrying out research on key environmental issues, writing reports and educational articles, executing membership development and outreach initiatives, as well as implementing marketing and communications plans for campaigns. She has a keen interest in renewable energy, impact investing, circular economy, and sustainable development.

Prominent not-for-profit environmental organizations she has volunteered at and worked for include Sierra Club, Environmental Defence, Ontario Sustainable Energy Association, Toronto Environmental Alliance, and Pollution Probe. Yvonne is motivated to work together with like-minded people and organizations towards greater environmental justice and more urgent climate action.

Roy Reif

Director, Career Development


Roy has a strong passion for the outdoors, sustainability, recreation, and parks.

He has an educational background in environmental science and before moving back to Toronto spent close to a decade in Western Canada’s National Parks, where he worked as a tourism manager, interpreter, and hiking guide. He enjoyed dedicating his free time to leading and attending talks on human impact in the parks, climate change,  geology, and botany. 

Teaching about environmental issues has always been important for Roy and he firmly believes through environmental awareness & education, comes change.

Leor Rotchild

Leor has a passion for using business as a force for good and his super power is getting the right people to the table to get things done. 

After several years in the energy sector, Leor co-founded a BCorp certified startup business that provides zero-waste management and carbon-neutral solutions to large music festivals and sporting events. As of May 2017, Leor is now Executive Director of CBSR

He consults to corporations, non-profit organizations and governments on communications strategy, stakeholder outreach, and social & environmental program development. 

Jonathan Fung


Jonathan Fung is motivated to build an inviting forum in the Greater Toronto Area to connect environmental and sustainability professionals from all backgrounds together. He is currently a Project Manager with the Sustainability Standards group at CSA Group, formerly known as Canadian Standards Association. Through this role, Jonathan facilitates and manages standard development activities related to sustainable forest management, sustainable events, life cycle assessment and greenhouse gases accounting.

Jonathan holds a Honours degree in Environmental Studies with a major in Environment and Business from the University of Waterloo, and has achieved certificates related to GHG accounting and LEED. Outside work, Jonathan has a keen interest in better understanding issues surrounding water quality and management. He enjoys being outdoors through activities such as camping, windsurfing and snowboarding.
